We're pleased to advise that Mary, Joseph and Geoff have now safely returned to Stoke Bliss where they will be the guests of honour at a Christmas party this evening. (Geoff has his hooves crossed hoping for a carrot themed buffet table!).
The family have had a busy week, with 'top billing' at the Hanley Child Nativity service last weekend and a brief a sojourn in Kyre, followed by trips around Tenbury and Eastham before making it back to Stoke Bliss yesterday. I also understand that they were entertained by the Relishing Rural Choir on their Christmas lunch, but have not seen any photos yet. It may be a case of 'what happens on choir, stays on choir'!
Geoff seems to have developed a liking for dog beds in preference to stables. Plenty of carrots have been offered by our hosts. Mary has also been keeping a close eye on Joseph after he slipped out to the pub during their visit to Stanford. Mary, Joseph and Geoff have also had a practice with lanterns, getting ready for their big night at Rochford on 24th.
This weekend's activities include a trip to a farm and a major role at the Stoke Bliss & Kyre carol service at 3pm on Sunday 22nd at Stoke Bliss Church.
