Celebrating Life Events - Baptisms and Christenings

We would thrilled and honoured to carry out a baptism or christening for you.  The ministry team are here to journey with you through these stages of life.

We're delighted that you're thinking about a baptism or christening.  We want to welcome you as you bring your child and celebrate their life, give thanks and pray for their future. 

When we baptise a child, the parents and godparents make promises and commitments to bring them up as a Christian. Parents and godparents promise to do their best to live good lives and be positive role models, making these promises on the child’s behalf. 

You don't have to be a child though to be baptised - we're delighted to carry out adult baptisms too. 

And whilst we know it's a bit confusing, Baptism and Christening are different names for the same event.

Baptisms often take place in one of our main Sunday services, but we can also arrange separate services if this would be better.
