Stoke Bliss - Alexander Dykes Trust

Alexander Dykes was rector of Stoke Bliss & died in 1750. In his will he left money to be invested to support three widows in reduced circumstances  - of good repute and who had paid their taxes.

Times have changed and the money can now be used for “THE RELIEF OF NEED OF PEOPLE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF STOKE BLISS WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP”

If you know of someone in Stoke Bliss or Kyre who has problems because they are young, old, ill... then please contact the Secretary of Teme Valley South PCC and the request will be dealt with confidentially by the trustees.
