Teme Valley Tote

Teme Valley Tote

Everyone in Teme Valley South is invited to join the Tote that has been running in Teme Valley North for a number of years.

Last year the Tote had over 300 subscribers with the surplus of about £2,000 going to the PCC funds.

When Stanford moved to Teme Valley South, it maintained its membership of the Tote.

The Tote runs from April to March. How does it work? A £10 subscription buys a single entry in 12 monthly draws. Currently there are three prizes each month of £50, £30 and £20. It is possible to purchase more than one entry – some people buy an entry for each of their family members.

In the last year, several members have asked that their prize be given to their local church – with a Gift Aid declaration, HMRC have given a further 25%! Win - Win

I gave a presentation to the last PCC meeting, at which several of the churches expressed an interest in participating.

What do you need to do to join? You need to contact your local co-ordinator or myself (Robin Dean on 01886 853295) and give them £10 for each entry. So far the Tote Co-ordinator in Eastham is Celia Adams and in Stanford is Roger Hunstone. If you come from another village, you are very welcome to join – please contact me in the first instance. We do have a Standing Order form. If you have internet banking, you are able to  pay online (the account details are Sort Code 20-39-64, North Teme Group of Churches Tote Account, Account number 30947539, Reference: your name – if you do this, please send me an email (robin.c.dean@gmail.com) to alert me stating your address (so that I can record this and send you the prize money when you win!!!!

This is a fairly painless way to raise money for TVS, so please enter.
