Covid 19
We have opened most of our churches, once a week to allow Private Prayer. This started weekly from 7th July. The rota is as below:
If you wish to visit one of the churches outside these days and times, please contact the local Churchwarden. In order to minimise the risk to those wishing to pray and those opening and closing the churches, we will keep the doors and gates open during opening and ask that those attending maintain social distancing and use the provided hand sanitiser on entry and exit from the church. Obviously we will try to open our churches more frequently when the risk is reduced. We are having public worship in our churches subject to safeguards and national guidelines - details in the Parish Calendar. We are recording some Sunday Services at Services in a time of Crisis - we are also Zooming daily prayers. Meanwhile, these churches remain active in prayer and supporting the communities. Most current information is available on our Facebook page. All our local communities are offering contact, support and assistance for the vulnerable or housebound. If you need help or would like to offer your assistance please contact:
Last revised 26th July 2020 at 09:00 The Church of England has recently supplied the attached book of prayers: The Church of England have recently launched a free telephone service called Daily Hope phone line on 0800 804 8040 (available 24 hours per day). This is for people who do not have easy access to the internet. If you have friends or neighbours who are unhappy trying to navigate a computer keyboard - please recommend this to them - it contains prayers, hymns and services - all are accessible via a spoken menu using your phone keypad to respond. I particulaly liked the hymns which are replaced daily (Option 2) Below is the link describing this service: The Church of England is offering the following guidance:
Psalm 121 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— 3 He will not let your foot slip— 5 The Lord watches over you— 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— Below some helpful guidance from Worcestershire County Council
